What’s that you say? What is Thursday Threedom? As a scrapper you may have heard about “the rule of thirds”. The rule of thirds is one of the basic composition schemes used in photography, ad design and painting/drawing… as well as in scrapbook layouts. Thursday Threedom will be bringing you three of something. This week, we are looking at layouts and three different ways scrappers use the same kit. For example, All that Glistens by Alexis Design Studio was released recently (it’s also on sale! oooOOOooo!) and I noticed some of the sample layouts she has listed with the collection are VERY different from each other!

Robin uses a lot of the different colors from the kit on her layout:

yorkiemom used mostly white and blue:

While Kythe used white and gold:

I had to do a double take because I didn’t think it was the same kit! I love how different scrappers have a different idea of how to use any given kit and the resulting pages are so different! Even the same scrapper can pick at a kit so that she can come up with several different pages for her scrapbooks.
