Word Art Wednesday
Fall is fast approaching, as noted by school starting back up here in the Southeastern United States (yay). My daughter starts back today, and she has a schedule that’s more full than mine is… BUT, I envy hers more than mine because she’s now in studio classes. Instead of having to “hit the books”, she’s hitting the drawing classes. The wonderful smell of drawing supplies wafts from her room, and I have to try to ignore it while I crack my books about brains and genes and William Shakespeare….
Speaking of books. Check out these DIY projects you can create with old books! Hey, they’re WORDY and it’s ART. Totally counts!
I super love these butterflies with keys!
This paper flower is pretty…
Stamp an old book page and frame it. VOILA. Instant art!
Repurpose books for practical-ness, too, like this knife holder:
Or this hidey-hole you can set on your bookshelf:
And these feathers are just FUN:
I never in a million years would have thought of wall decor like this. HOW COOL!
And this junk journal is a neat idea!
What kind of projects do you have on the go right now?
