Are you ready for the weekend, scrappers? Don’t take off until you read this week’s Our Gal Friday post, featuring PBP Creative Team Member Scrapdolly. Karen is from the UK, and often just goes by Dolly. I think she was part of the PBP community before I was around, and has been on the CT for as long as I have owned the shop. That’s at least eight years. Lol, Julie and I tried to come up with a date, but that’s our best guess!

Karen is one of those loyal, dependable and incredibly talented scrappers that digi sites love to have on their teams. We are thrilled that she makes her home here at Pickleberrypop! She can scrap anything from a traditional layout to a lovely artsy page. She and her hubby Nigel travel a lot, so we get to share in their adventures through her layouts. Here are some of my favorites from Karen!

Doesn’t this page just make you want to travel with her? Gorgeous photos, fantastic composition and beautiful blending!

I love seeing photos of this happy couple…so many fun adventures together, and she shares them with us! This is another one of her amazing traditional layouts.

I really LOVE Karen’s clusters on this page. The clusters on the frame and left edge provide such a nice balance…and that OOB photo is adorable. She blended/masked it perfectly into her background!

I really love her combination of the beautiful purples with her black and white photo on this layout. Stunning!

This next layout is such a fantastic summary of some of their travels. I LOVE the composition of this page. Doesn’t it make you want to be travel companions with them on their next adventure? Great journaling, too!

I just had to add this final layout featuring a photo when Karen playing with the filters on her phone. Lol, such an adorable pic of a truly beautiful person.

Take some time to browse through Scrapdolly’s Gallery here at PBP. You’ll be amazed at her talent!

Some of you may know that Karen was close personal friends with Dawn Inskip, and was part of her CT for years. When Dawn passed away last year, it was a difficult loss for Karen. But, she went to work and spearheaded a memorial for Dawn. You can read about it here. Here’s a photo of she and Nigel sitting on Dawn’s memorial bench at the Paradise Wildlife Park. I’m sure Dawn was very pleased with this tribute. Everyone needs a friend like Karen. The world would be a better place!

I hope you’ve enjoyed getting to know Karen/Scrapdolly. We all love her here at PBP and think you’ll see why after reading this post.
