Circles are showing up a LOT lately in the gallery! Templates with circles are so much fun to play with and there are quite a few of them in our shop to get you started. I do love a good square photo, but circular photos can add that little bit of oompf that you might be looking for. Not only do these three pages use circles… but they all use 3 photos, too!

Take this layout by dkane, for example – with all the pretty round flowers & paper pieces, the circular photos are a perfect fit. She’s offset the circle shapes with a few rectangular word strips, too. There’s a really nice balance (and rule of thirds!) going on here!

In this layout by Mary-Lynne, she’s used the circles to show that she’s composited two photos together – and the end result is amazing! I really like how she’s used the string and ribbon to frame the composite, as opposed to the red frames (which are circled by more circles!) on the separate photos:

heathert placed strips of paper behind her circle photos, and i love the resulting contrast on her page, not just from the shapes, but also from the red and white stripes throughout the page. Square or rectangle photos would have gotten lost here!

I think I might need a pastry now… happy scrapping!
