Thursday Threedom

May 28th was a pretty momentous day in my life. It’s the day that I became a mother for the first time. My oldest daughter, Jami, was born on Memorial Day here in the US…and yes, it was very memorable! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JAMI! My life has never been the same. This girl kept us on our toes *grin* She is now the mother of five fabulous kids. It’s been an amazing journey watching her become the woman that she is today. So, for today’s Threedom post, I thought I’d choose three kits that describe her perfectly, and would be fun to use to scrap different phases of her life. (lol, now I just need to work on actually getting that scrapping done!)

The first kit I’d choose is one of our shop collabs, Don’t Underestimate Me. I learned early to never be surprised by her accomplishments. This girl doesn’t believe in roadblocks. She climbs over them! I’m sure you have someone in your life that is always reaching higher and going further than you thought he/she would. This kit is perfect for that!

Even though I know she was unsure and a little hesitant inside about this latest phase in her life, on the outside she seemed fierce, unafraid and ready to conquer the world. She recently moved halfway across the US to rejoin her hubby who had already been working in the new area for several months. She drove halfway across the country, in an RV with her teenage sons following along in their family van. They are living in the RV (with her FIVE KIDS during the pandemic) while they build a new home. Nope, it hasn’t been easy. Yes, it was HARD for her to leave the only place she’s called home for 36 years. Yup, this girl is determined, fierce and isn’t afraid to be buck the norm. She works hard to make her family’s dreams come true! The kit Fierce & Authentic from Jumpstart Designs is perfect to scrap pages about people with this type of personality!

Finally, I think the kit Yes You Can! from Bellisae Designs is the theme of her life.

She doesn’t like to take no for an answer. When the world said, “You can’t do that!” She said, “JUST WATCH ME!” Lol, that can be a good thing or a bad thing…especially when she was younger. Now she’s the one having to tell her own teenagers NO, you can’t do that. Lol, she may have a couple of kids with her personality type. Life has come full circle, and it’s been fun watching her learn and grow into such a wonderful person that I love with all my heart.

Here’s a pic with her family…those grandkids are growing up way too fast!

So, take a look at the amazing kits in our shop and find those that describe the people that you love….and get scrapping. Yes, I’m going to take my own advice….as soon as I recover from driving to and from Oklahoma twice in two weeks! We will actually get to celebrate Jami’s birthday with her in Oklahoma! Lol, I’m gonna need a LOOOOOONG nap when we get home this time!
