Thursday Threedom
Thursday is upon us, and I seriously canNOT fathom where the days go. Wasn’t it just Monday? Wasn’t it just FEBRUARY? Wasn’t it just 2010?! Ok, no, I don’t want it to be 2010. We were living in Arizona at that time. I hated every second of it, except for the “dry heat”. Kudos to those of you that can live there your entire lives and survive, what with all the tarantulas, scorpions, rattlesnakes, killer bees and coyotes y’all have out there. (One day I’ll tell you a story… EESH!)
Even though time is flying by, I’m enjoying my time off from school! It’s nice not having my nose in a textbook. I’ve been designing like crazy, but I’ve been enjoying other things as well…

These are a few of my favorite things
*ahem*cough*cough* sorry. My Julie Andrews is showing. Let me just put that away…
Anyway. Because of this whole COVID scene, too, I’ve discovered or rediscovered a couple of things that I just love to do.
ONE:
The youngest and I have been hitting up Home Depot almost every week to visit the Lawn & Garden Center. We’ve both been bitten by the green thumb brigade. He’s even squared off a piece of the backyard for a little garden that now has things growing in it, and I’ve got several pots of plants going on the back porch as well:
It’s so much fun reading about our different plants and taking care of them!
TWO:
TV. I know, I know…. laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame. I can’t go out and have fun, so I stay in and get my entertainment on the tube! I just finished the newest season of The Expanse (after rewatching previous seasons… for the 2nd time. I might own the first 3 seasons on DVD, lol). I’ve watched Deadwood before, so this is my second time watching it because there’s a mooooviiiieee, lol. Hubs is watching with me this time 🙂 I also decided to try out Riverdale…and have not been disappointed!
THREE:
Last, but certainly not least, reading!
SHHHHHH, don’t tell Faye, lol!
I’ve got a TALL stack of unread books on my desk that have been collecting dust. I’ve been spending about an hour a day reading. I have several Kim Harrisons, Stephen Kings, Dean Koontzs and James Pattersons sitting here. I’m currently working my way through the Women’s Murder Club series by James Patterson. I finished The 8th Confession last week and am working my way through The 9th Judgement now. I have the series up to #16 and looking to get #17, 18, 19 and 20, and maybe even The Medical Examiner for Christmas. What I did NOT know is that it was a TV series – canceled, but still. I’ll have to hunt it down…
So, there you have it. That’s how I spend my free time. How do you spend yours? Do you have hobbies OTHER than digital scrapbooking?
