Thursday Threedom

Welcome to another thrilling Thursday Threedom post! I hope you all are doing well and are staying virus free! If you live in the Southeastern US, like I do, you might be wishing for a humid free day, too! Temperatures have been running at about 85-90*F, but with the humidity factored in, it feels like a balmy and sticky 105* šŸ˜› Somebody pass me a spoon so I can eat my air!

Speaking of spoons, it’s the perfect day for Three-Ingredient Ice Cream! That’s right, you can make Vanilla Ice Cream with only THREE ingredients!

Ingredients:

2.5 cups whipping cream

7oz condensed milk

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Method:

Chill two bowls. Then in one bowl, mix together the milk and vanilla. In the other bowl, whisk the whipping cream until you get soft peaks. Once you get peaks on your whipping cream, add the milk/vanilla mixture, and whisk again until you get peaks. If you want to add extras (M&Ms or chocolate bits, nuts, fruit, etc) you can do that, too! Just fold in your extras. Then put the mixture into a container, cover with cling/saran wrap, put a lid on it and freeze for at least 3 hours.

That’s it! Easiest thing ever! The hardest part is waiting for it to freeze so you can eat it šŸ˜‰ I pretty much only buy whipping cream and condensed milk around Thanksgiving time for pie toppings and such, and the ice cream is perfect on top of a warm piece of apple pie… mmmmmm…..

Enjoy!
