Lorie lives in Queensland in Australia and has been married to her college sweetheart for 19 years. They have 3 kids – a teen daughter and twins (a boy and a girl). Before kids, she was a CAD operator (mechanical) in a Japanese joint venture company. Now she’s a stay-at-home mom who loves and enjoys designing digital scrapbook products, both for personal and commercial use. She also loves making scrapbook pages and photo books, she’s the family’s memory keeper.

Do you use a Mac or PC?

What (or who) is your biggest influence in your designs?

My biggest influence is my family, especially my kids. I love designing with everyday themes – family, kids, and emotions. I started designing when my eldest daughter was still young. I love making her a digital scrapbook that she really loves, and now I continue doing it for my twins.

Do you ever redesign your older kits to match your current style?

I never had a chance to redesign my older kits but this a nice idea, I think older kits with cliparts and cute themes will be fun to redesign.

Aside from designing, what do you like to do?

Aside from designing, I love making digital scrapbooks and photo books for my family. I also love photography and editing, and making home videos of my family. These are our little treasures. We love making memories.

What is your biggest challenge when you sit down to design a collection?

Sometimes it’s a real challenge for me to come up with a name for the kit or the collection.

What is one thing this pandemic has taught you?

Never neglect those opportunities to enjoy, explore and
have adventures with your family. You never know what will happen the next day. Also, make your health one of your top priorities.
