I’m Carol and I’m from Kun Ming, in China. I live with my parents. In addition, my family has three kittens and a puppy. Both my parents and I like small animals very much. I have been digital scrapbooking since 2008, and I like it very much. My job is an accountant. I became a designer in 2018. I like to use scrapbooking to make all kinds of pages. Most of the models are small animals at home, and my parents. I want to keep these as my most precious items all the time.

What (or who) is your biggest influence in your designs?

My biggest influence is my love for scrapbook. And my parents’ support and appreciation for me.

I fell in love with scrapbook when I first saw it. No one around me knows how interesting it is. I like making pages. This is also the motivation that makes me have the courage to become a scrapbook designer. Now I like to use all kinds of collections to make photo albums for my family

What is your design process?

Usually I choose a theme first. Then start thinking about this topic. What do I need to do? For example: seasonality, festivals, animals, families, etc. When I determine my theme, I will choose a beautiful palette according to the theme, and then use 3 days or even 1 week to complete them.

Aside from designing, what do you like to do?

Walking, I like walking very much. I like walking along an artificial river near my home. I like watching TV dramas. I like to eat all kinds of delicious food

Describe your work space.

My working space is concentrated in my study. There are three computers in the study, one of which is my own. The other computers are mainly used by my parents to play games. In addition, there are many cat nests, toys and so on in my study. The cat and dog stayed in the study with me when I was working

What keeps you inspired from collection to collection?

I think it’s love. I think only when I love something, I will always try my best to do it, do what I like, and I will always maintain my passion
