NATALi DESiGNS

My name is Vendula and you know me as Natali designs. Natali is the name of my daughter. She was born when I started designing and her name inspired me for my designer name. I’ve been digital scrapbooking since 2008. So, so many years and I still love it! I am 46 years old and I live in central Europe in Czech Republic with my family – my husband and my children. I have a daughter and son. I work as a project manager and gardener besides designing. I love nature and long walks. I can’t imagine the day if I wasn’t out. I like the energy and purity of nature, peace and beauty of nature. I need regular exercise, so I often run and practice yoga. I love gardening, the process by which something is growing, and I can affect my care. I need a cup of coffee each day and I love good food.

Where do you find your inspiration?

I love nature and this is my the biggest inspiration for me.

What does a typical day look like for you?

I have started my day with a cup of coffee in my bed. Then it all depends on whether I have any work meetings or work from home. What must never be missing in my day is movement – yoga, walking, running or anything else and a walk in nature and in the summer working in the garden and also having lunch or dinner with my family at the table where we are all together.

When is your favorite time of day the day to design?

10 years ago I was a night owl and worked mainly during evening and night, but now I need to work mainly in the morning.

Do you have any favorite themes?

Winter and christmas.

If you weren’t designing scrapbook kits, what would you be doing?

I would like to be a rentier. Spend time in a small house by the river or lake. Spending time in nature, with people who I love and being at peace.
