Hello. I’m from Japan and currently live in Tokyo, but I move every few years 🙂 It’s fun to move from place to place and enjoy the things that are unique to each place. However, as I got older, my feelings for my hometown grew stronger. I am thinking about what I can do to protect the culture and beautiful scenery of my hometown.

Where do you find your inspiration?

I often find inspiration while walking. I enjoy the combination of fonts by looking at the town’s signboards, enjoy the geometric patterns by looking at the tiles on the ground.

How would you describe your product style?

I like the analog-like style. Using torn paper, poor stitching, handmade flowers etc., as if the layout was made by a clumsy person.

What type of packs is the most fun to design?

I like making wordbits. Actually, I just love the shape of the 26 alphabets 🙂 It’s fun to spend time thinking about font combinations.

If you weren’t designing scrapbook kits, what would you be doing?

I want to research ancient documents and excavate ruins in my hometown.

What is the best piece of advice you have been given?

Don’t think. Feel. (by Bruce Lee)
