Over the past year, I’ve faced a significant health challenge that took almost a year to overcome. It was a tough period, but I’m grateful to say that I’m now in excellent health. This experience has been a catalyst for positive change in my life. I’ve embraced a healthier lifestyle, incorporating regular exercise into my routine. Today, I’m thriving and fully engaged in various aspects of my life. Aside from my passion for digiscrapbooking, I’m also involved in designing corporate identities and visual communication strategies for businesses. Juggling these diverse design activities requires careful organization, but I find it immensely rewarding to bring creativity to different aspects of my life.

What motivates you in your designs?

What motivates me in my designs is the desire to bring joy to the end-user and make the process of digital scrapbooking as enjoyable and easy as possible. That’s why I often create pre-designed packs of elements, such as clusters and embellishments. I want users to be able to effortlessly use my collections to create entire albums with just a few clicks. My designer name, ‘Simplette,’ reflects my mission to simplify the scrapbooking experience for everyone : it is a playful combination of ‘simple’ and the French diminutive ‘-ette.’ It embodies my approach to digital scrapbooking design – I aim to keep things simple, uncomplicated, and accessible to all. ‘Creatively Artless’ is my slogan, emphasizing the artful simplicity I strive for in my designs. I believe that everyone, regardless of their experience level, should find joy and ease in the creative process. ‘Simplette’ represents the fusion of simplicity and creativity, making digital scrapbooking an enjoyable experience for everyone.

What’s Your Favorite Product?

My most cherished product in my shop is the ‘Stone and Petal’ collection. I have a deep affection for this collection because it seamlessly blends hand-drawn elements with real textures, combining the rustic beauty of old stones with the delicate elegance of flowers. The juxtaposition of these elements creates a unique visual narrative, capturing the harmony between the ancient and the blooming. What makes ‘Stone and Petal’ truly special for me is the incorporation of light effects that add a touch of enchantment to each design. It’s this magical play of light that brings the collection to life and adds a whimsical charm to every scrapbooking project. “Stone and Petal” collection is not just a collection; it’s a journey through time and nature, where every page tells a story of timeless beauty.
