JEN YURKO

Hi! I have been designing since 2009 and at PBP since 2015. I live in North Alabama with my husband, his cat, and our recently adopted 6-month-old puppy who is aspiring to be the size of a horse. We have 7 kids and 3 grandkids between us, spread across the US from Texas to North Carolina. When I’m not designing, I’m working on my degree in Graphic Design at Arizona State University online (only 10 classes left – woohoo!). I love listening to audiobooks or blaring music while designing and take some downtime every night to cook dinner for and watch TV with my husband.

What is one song that could be your theme song?

I have had a theme song for just about every stage of my life. Right now, I feel connected to “A Symptom of Being Human” by Shinedown. Each of us has our difficulties, but, in the end, we are all human and we are not alone – and it would do each of us some good to remember that. Life is rough and we should help each other through it and take care of each other!

What is Your Favorite Product and Why?

This collection came to my screen during a turn-around point in my life this year. I had a rough couple of years with the loss of a son, my mom, and my dog. I designed this collection to help me find a new direction and a new attitude about my life.
