Hi there! I’m Dani, the designer behind Just Because Studio. You might not know this, but I’ve been designing for almost 18 years. I started as a traditional scrapbooker, then discovered digiscrap and began creating for many designers before launching my own kits. It’s been a long creative journey, all mixed with my personal life, as I express my feelings and thoughts through everything I create.

DESiGNER Q & A

What do you enjoy doing outside of designing?

I used to be an avid reader as a child and teenager. But once I became an adult, it was hard to keep up with hobbies — I worked long hours, spent a lot of time commuting, and then there was motherhood and housekeeping. I’m very happy to be reading again, and I’ve been kind of addicted to it since last October. I’ve read 60 books so far this year! Reading has become my escape from reality when I’m struggling with depression.

What is Your Favorite Product and Why?

This is such a mean question to ask a designer, it’s impossible to choose a favorite. I have a bunch of products that mean a lot to me because they reflect my own life at some point in my life. After a very tough year when my mother got very ill, at the beginning of 2024, I was feeling hopeful that things were going to be better, and I created this collection as reminder to be positive.
