Wow what a full year and the first half with your renovations and remodeling, the prom and finish of high school. 75 trees - eek! That must have been one hell of a job planting them. I guess you must have a bit of land to be able to house that many new trees. It does sound lovely though being able to plant and watch so many grow.
I LOVE how you have marked the months and set out your page. It really looks fantastic and your journaling shows a full and busy life. Empty nesters in September - something that will be a little bittersweet - you have achieved what you set out to do as parents, prepare the kids to go out into the world confident and looking forward to their future - but suddenly they are so much older and the memory of the time they were underfoot seems so long ago. It is also a very sweet time when as empty nesters life offers so many opportunites and things to explore together - yes something to look forward too.
