Sometimes it's ok that today all you did was breathe, rest and hold yourself together.

During my recovery from surgery I have had to rest more than I have in a very long time.
My recliner has been my refuge.
The surgery was more complicated than I realized, so the recovery is more complicated as well. I have had to pause my normal life in order to give myself time to recover. There are things that I would normally do that have had to be put on hold. But there are also upcoming events that I don't want to miss. So I'm working through things, using trial & error, setting achievable milestones & moving on to the next things.
I will heal in time. Until then I will pause for a bit.
