We came for the hummingbird migration and stayed for the
educational lecture about bats. Jeff has spent his life studying
bats on nearly every continent in the world. Hes an interes-
ting and unusual guy, who, with his black hair kind of looks
like a bat himself. We learned so much about bats, and the
friendly Q & A session that followed allowed for many other
facts to be presented. It was obvious that Jeff was completely
comfortable with his little friends, although the audience never
did quite share the same
enthusiasm.
