Journaling: Capulin Volcano National Monument, New Mexico -one of those places we didn’t plan to stop, but we passed it and pulled in - even though the Visitor Center was closed. So glad we did! The views of the crater were spectacular and from the top you could see that most of the hills in the area are old volcanoes. august 2016
