I must admit I had a little chuckle reading your journaling. Poor fishies! The previous house owner left 5 fish in a fish tank in the front yard. That was 4.5 years ago. They "come and go"... We had one mysteriously disappear, then it came back just as mysteriously (we had to empty the water so we know it was not hiding), one died, a little was born and then died, two more littles were born and grew to same size as others. I was hoping that by now, they'd all be gone, but nope, we have more than when we started. Thankfully they're low maintenance!
