The extreme tides around Easter are the perfect time to venture out for a walk around the point. The tide needs to be really low if you want to make it around with dry feet and without having to scramble up and over rocks and cliff faces. It was a perfect day on Good Friday, sunny with no wind and so we decided to venture out to the beach. Starting from the surf beach the Ethan and Sara did a little wave jumping ... even with pleas to Ethan not to get wet, his shoes and shorts were soon nicely soaked. Hayley was a bit put out because she was missing her favourite TV show but as we made our way around the point it was hard for her to stay annoyed. With rock pools, interesting sea life, old army bunkers, Buckleys cave, rocks to clamber up and walls to jump off there is plenty to excite their interest. When we finally made it round the sun was setting and it was time to head back to the house for tea. We made it ... AROUND THE POINT.
