Text: I took these photos early one morning from my verandah at Bonnie Doon. The amazing colours are caused by smoke haze. This was 2 weeks after Black Saturday in February 2009. There was still a huge amount of smoke as many fires were still burning. I am thankful every day that the fires did not reach us (so close) and I will never forget Saturday Feb 7th 2009 - Black Saturday.
