journaling: When I got sick with Fifth Cranial Trigeminal Neuralgia I did not realize how much it would turn my life. It changed my perspective to where every day is a new day. A day I am grateful for. I had no clue how long it would take to recover. Or at points if I ever would recover. Not being able to eat, smile, talk without pins and needles from my canine tooth to my forehead followed by electrical zaps behind my eye socket. Followed by a feeling down the scalp of my head. No one from work checked on me despite me being out for almost five months when before that I hardly missed a day of work. Hardly any of my friends reached out to me. My circle of friends closed in and I learned that I matter and my kids matter but everyone else and every thing else as in work could wait in due time but for me not to drop everything to do it. My health and children take a priority.
