 Journaling:      During the Summer, “A Summer Reading Program” was offered by our local library.  There would be reading, crafts, and special events and programs each week to keep the children busy and to promote their love of reading.
    During this particular event, “Go Fly a Kite,” an expert came in and gave information on kite design.  Students read about them and then created their own kite.  Afterwards, they went outside to “test flight” their creations.
