WORLD WAR I - My grandfather, Glenn Lee Forward, and grandmother, Anna Helena Helfrich, were married 16 June 1918 and a few days later he left for military training. He drove a U.S. Army issued Nash Quad Ammunitions truck in France during World War I. He kept the troops supplied, traveling all across France to pick up and deliver ammunition.
