For Week 1 of GDSO - Technical Challenge - PHOTO TREATMENT CHALLENGE- I chose to manipulate the image of my dog to look (I hope) like a chalk drawing. Named "Pixie" because she was the most playful and smallest female of her litter, she was my 60th birthday gift from a dear friend whom God took home not long after her gift to me. She is the best birthday gift I have ever gotten from a friend! My husband & I love her dearly. The journaling (in the "Shelter Me" font) reads: "Pixie, you are the heart of our home. Your “Daddy” and I get so much joy from your sweet disposition and funny antics! You and I share a birthday and we are both 70 now (you in dog years). We are both slower to run and tire more easily. We have both put on some weight and we both love our treats a little too much. But age & weight have just made our love for each other more precious and I thank God for sending you to us!"
