Journaling:
For fifty years we spent Christmas waking up to darkness, looking out at snow, enjoying warm homes, good food and family all around us. In landlocked Saskatchewan, underwater wonders were reserved for Jacques Cousteau and marvelled over in visits to aquariums while on vacations. What an adventure, living in Fiji, to go on a Christmas Day dive. It felt like we were alone in the ocean, seeing things that no one else could see.
