I love these photos of my littlest granddaughter getting her ears pierced. She is almost 9 and has begged to get them pierced for years now. The look on her face in the mirror just makes me smile. The journaling reads: "You have wanted to have your ears pierced since you were very little and this was the big day. Sarah did the job and, despite a little hurt, it was over quickly. BaaBaa, your lifelong, faithful companion was with you through it all. Your joy as you looked in the mirror was beautiful to behold. I hope that your earrings will always be a sweet accent to the bright, helpful, loving girl that you are. I love you, Kaylene!"

I used the “Grand Central Station Bundle” by Fayette Designs, a mask from Indigo Designs’ “Double Page Templates with Mask Vol.52 by Indigo Designs” (changed quite a bit) and a watercolor mask and a photo well from “Template Mash 14, template 2” by Heartstrings Scrap Art and Jen Maddocks Designs (not PBP).
