journaling reads:
Her daughter watched as she faced death with such acceptance. There was grief for the loved ones she was leaving behind but it was evident that God was calling her home. She called in her adult children, one at a time. Gently, firmly, she told them to accept with open hearts, the woman that their father might choose to marry in the future. As much as it pained her to think of him with another, she didn't want him to face the rest of his life alone. Her daughter, even in her grief, recognised the selfless love that this woman had for her husband and vowed to do as she asked. Now, long after her mother has gone to the Lord, the daughter remembers and attempts to model that same, gentle, selfless love.
