journaling:
The thing is, it just gets difficult trying to entertain children in a
productive way. A way that teaches them, encourages them, and pleases
mom and dad. But after a long day of hanging out with the folks and
having to endure some rather dull meetings, we found the Science Lab
at Union Station. There, they got to excavate bones, peer at fossils under
a magnifying glass, and make music with the over-sized instruments
just waiting to be banged on. All too soon, the docents started warning
that soon the museum would be closing for the day. It didnt seem
possible we had been there for two hours.
I guess that can only mean one thing:
we go back again. This time, well make
it there earlier in the day.
