Journalling: "Our Senior year was absolute crap. Because our school was so rural, there were only 5 or 6 classes that didnt require distance ed. I studied media, drama, discrete mathematics, applied information technology and english. We didnt have lockers so we had to lug around all our books every day and the school turned the year 12 common room into the class for the flying start program. Our school ball was boytcotted by striking teachers and our parents ended up chaperoning, and we didnt get a year 12 camp (which is where we normally visit universities) at all! Our group of friends fell apart in favour of drinking, boys and cooler people and it became Habony vs. The World. To top it off, we never did get to see the professional photos we were posing for here... I was just glad to be able to say I was out of there. Phew."
