The upper L girl is our granddaughter (12) and the lower R girl is her cousin on the other side of her family (in college, I believe she is 19). I was just moved by this picture of them sitting on the stairs talking, about what I have no idea. One is still growing, one is about grown, still they enjoy each other’s company, probably because all of the other cousins are boys! So I used a quote from Rick Riordan that I think fits the moment and gives it some humor. The picture really does go all across the layout, it’s just that there are white or near white walls on either side of the staircase - it’s more obvious in the original photo.
