DAYS GONE BY - Looking at this farm with it’s weathered old barn, rusted metal silos, chickens running in the yard and black-faced sheep laying under the trees, you would think this was a scene from olden days gone by. But that is not the case. I took these photos while on a drive through Midway, Utah in October 2018  and this charming farm was beside the main road near town. I have always wanted to be a farmer . . . or at least the romantic version of a farmer with the slower life of crops in the fields, animals to care for, cows to milk, eggs to gather and wholesome food from the garden cooking on the stove for the menfolk as they come in out of the fields for dinner. Sounds idyllic. Like a story in a book or a movie on TV. I’m sure my farming cousins would have a different story to tell.
