Dec 2021 Photography Challenge

Journaling reads:

This Christmas Cactus was my mother-in-law’s. I found it odd that it was covered in blossoms the last part of March 2020. She was so tickled because it had been blooming since Christmas and it usually is at its peak over Christmas week and done just after New Year’s Day and it was almost her birthday. On 1 Apr 2020 Grammy quietly went to take a nap and left us. That day, the cactus dropped all its blooms. I was very much afraid it would die. It looked awful and did not bloom again. That is until this Christmastide, 2021. It was not as exuberant a display, but it appears it has transferred its affections. Grammy loved this plant and so do I!

Isn't that curious. Almost as if the plant was putting on one last magnificent display for your mother-in-law. I'm glad that you have it to remember her by, and that it's flowering again for you.
Thanks for doing such a lovely page for the challenge, Susan. xoxo

Oh that is a most wonderful story. I love Christmas Cactus' too and have 3 beautiful ones. A very beautiful page and a fantastic tribute to both Grammy and her cactus.
