Journaling: Our Easter story - Ever since the boys were born, we hid eggs in the backyard at Omas house. 2 years ago, the boys decided that they were too old for that, so we colored eggs and spent the day at Omas for fun. This year, Alex spent the weekend with Oma, and Sam, Ian & I went to get him during the day Sunday. Then Saturday evening, Alex mentioned to Oma "you know, Easter was much more fun when we hid eggs" Ian said the same thing to Sam & I, so I was going to mention it in the morning to Oma. Well, before I could say anything, she called me and told me about what Alex said and that she had dug some of the plastic eggs out of the garage, filled them up with whatever change she had around the house and Sam & I could hide them in the backyard in the morning.Tada! Easter 2015!You know, if we had planned this we would have been stressing over what candy to put in the eggs, whether the weather was going to be so hot that the candy would melt, etc. And then of course, if it would rain. This was all on the spur of the moment, no time for stress. A little rain came but we didn't melt, and the boys got their Easter Egg Hunt!
