The journalling says....Traditions are something I love to ponder on. For me I find them inadvertently amoungst my children and their cousins. I love encouraging my children to play outside and to achieve independently by taking calculated risks all sorts of things. I guess this was the kind of approach my parents had for my siblings and me as we grew up. Riding bikes is just one of those things. Starting with something foot powered. moving directly to a tricycle and finally two wheels...a bicycle. I love how my children have embaraced riding of bikes just like I did as a child. Moment like this just remind me of the many wonderful childhood memories that I mande and my children are making.
