FAMILY MEMORIES - Amarillo Texas, 1953-1955 - Growing up in a small-ish Texas Panhandle town in the 50’s-60’s was such a blessing to my brother and I. And having the wonderful parents that we did was by far our greatest blessing. Parents who were grounded in every sense of the word - Believers in Christ, moral, faithful to each other and to our family, honest, trustworthy, hard working. They came from good stock. The family roots ran deep and were strong and solid. Life in America was different then. Families were different then. But that legacy continues. So hold on tight to your roots and DON’T LET GO!!
