As the journaling says, "Neither of us are gardeners. It’s not just that we don’t like gardening, it’s also that we are not good at it. But when Pastor Milan gave these bearded iris bulbs to us Ed was determined to plant them even while anticipating their demise. To the surprise of us both, they thrive and seem to multiply every year. Sadly that means weeding them also. Sigh, I don’t want to be good at that!"

The challenge to make our own torn paper(s) was a tough one. I don't really like mine, but they will have to do. I just think I'll stick to designer created ones from here on out.

I used Simplette's "Make Spring Grow" kit and dirt mounds from "On Wings of Dragon Dreams" collection by Jumpstart Designs. The title font is "America" and the journaling font is "Minion Variable Concept."
