Journaling:
Once upon a time, in the early 20th century, my great grandparents made a brave journey from Europe to America, seeking a better life. They found their new home in New England, where they started their family. Fast forward to 1927, in the bustling city of New York, my maternal grandparents crossed paths. Sparks flew, and they soon tied the knot. In 1929, they moved to the serene landscapes of Oregon, where they raised their three children.
Years later, my parents, both college students at the time, met and fell in love. In 1950, they said their vows and began their own family. I was one of their five children, alongside my siblings Debbie, Kathy, Cyndi, and Randy. As youngsters, we relocated to California, spending our formative years by the beautiful California Coast.
Time has a way of bringing us full circle. Over the years, all of us, except for one sister, found our way back to Oregon, the place where it all began. This journey, woven with love
and migration, has shaped the tapestry of our family history.
