Journaling: This was Haley's first trip to the dog park, so naturally we were a bit worried. Sam a little more than me, because I have seen her play with another dog her size before. At home, we have 3 other dogs, but they are little, about the size of the cats (we have 2 of those, too.) Haley doesn’t play with them as much as intimidate them, or maybe they just intimidate her - we’re not really sure about the dynamics there. So, we were a little worried about taking her to an off leash area. I mean, she is a big dog. We didn’t need to worry, though. She seemed scared of the other dogs, even though she was the biggest dog there. Maybe a few more times will get her used to her own size so she can play with larger dogs. Another park worthy of repeat visits!
