Treasured Traditions by Dee Bee Designs
Journal:
When my first child was born I was so excited. It was a dream realized! She was so precious to me. I marveled about everything ... from her little hands and feet, to her wispy blond hair, to the way her tiny fingers would automatically wrap around one of my fingers. She took to feeding time right away. Her little mouth would open wide when the bottle would move towards it, eagerly awaiting the chance to drink her formula. It reminded me of a little baby bird when its Mama would bring food to the nest. A nickname was born ... I called her my Little Birdie. Two decades later, a few of us in the family continue to call her by that name. It may be a select few, but thats okay. Its a term of endearment ... a treasured tradition ... she will always be my Little Birdie.
