Photo is from my Mom and Dad's 25th Anniversary.

Journal reads:
2011...this would have been your 50th year of being married. Not many couples reach this milestone in their lives. Even though Mom isn't with us anymore I know that we should still celebrate. I am grateful that I was witness to your undying love. You were always there for each other and you made your marriage the foundation for your family. I have learned so much from my parents, the couple, and I am thankful. When we were in the hospital with Mom on her last day I remember Dad saying about their 50th... "I really thought we were going to make it, if only we had a little more time." You did make it, in my eyes at least.
