Journaling: Even though we live in San Antonio, the Missions have never been on our list of things to see, except the Alamo, which every school child in this city has gone to via an elementary school field trip. So, when the Boy Scouts announced the mission trail hike, Sam, Ian and I went - 14 miles - thru downtown San Antonio.Not exactly my idea of fun, but it was a nice day and I would like to research and explore the missions - on my own time.
