Sept Bonus Challenge - Stroopwafel S'mores

I created this layout for our September Bonus Challenge. Come & Play along!

My son had a brilliant idea - use Dutch Stroopwafels (Waffle Cookies) in place of the graham crackers (my hubby is Dutch, so it was a natural thing for us. I'm just shocked it took so long to come up with them!) They were delish and the cookies didn't crack like the graham crackers do....so yummy! We were all on a sugar overload after this!

I was wondering what that odd word was...now I know! I like smores made with soda crackers...a little salt and sweet!! Fabulous layout!!

Stroopwafels are not salty :) They are two pressed, pliable cookies put together and filled with caramel sauce :)

I knew they were sweet but did not know about the caramel sauce...OOOoooy, sounds sticky gooey yummy! I was just saying I used Ritz crackers that did have salt so the smores weren't so sweet! ;)
