journaling: When children try to advocate for themselves and they are not listened to and they fall on deaf ears in the school system.
a child videos my son doing a "happy dance" because of his cerebral palsy and fills out an incident and nothing I go see the principal and he calls me and calls me to say yes they can confirm there was a video uploaded but it has been shared so much they are dropping it because they don't know who originally uploaded it.
but at lunch you can sit in the detention area so other students won't come up to you and say they say you on the video.

my daughter wanted an elective gets told no it is not an option and the elective she originally chosen is no longer an option either. Choose three more classes adn told by hte counselor no not an option guess again.
I go to the office and talk to them and the principal says oh yes first alternative elective wanted is fine. Counselor I did not know I was frustrating you. Where is the guidance when all a counselor says is no and no suggestions.
