Most know I'm not 'officially' married, but I've been with Rich since 2002 and well, here in New Mexico there is no common law for those who have been with their significant other for several years to be considered a 'married' couple. Nonetheless, he has done the not-so-traditional thing, you know, totally catching me off guard amongst many, many, many folk (at a Dallas Cowboys game in Arizona back in November 2006, of all places, yes!) where his proposal came on the onscreen display and then HELLO the television cameras were on me/us/everyone! I was PG at the time and well, how could I not say no!? Not cuz I was PG, but yes I love the man too pieces! We've been through our ups and downs, don't we all?....but most importantly after 6 years sticking together, although officially 2 years after his proposal, I want a traditional wedding. He would be happy if we were to go to the justice of the peace, but NO WAY *lol*...I want the gown, the lillies, tulips, babysbreath, my maid of honor, reception, etc....can you blame me?! Soooooo the reason for this LO.
