Journaling reads: I have always been so grateful for the laid back attitude my family takes to gift-giving. We rarely buy each other gifts. We dont exchange names at Christmas, and we dont have any set system for giving gifts. But, if I ever need help, in any way, I know my parents and my siblings will be the first ones in line to help. They babysit, they loan cars, they help with moving, they listen with a compassionate ear. I know I can always count on them to love me and help me. And, in my opinion, those are . . . the best gifts.
