The journaling says...We have many Christmas traditons in our house but dressing the Christmas tree is one of my childrens favourite thing to do.. McKenzie, Hayden and Andre all patiently wait for the tree to be assembled (articfical because I am alergic to pine)watch while we put the lights on and for me to find the right boxes. Finally one after the other they put put a decoration on the tree until they are all hung. We talk about everything as the Christmassy and sing the inevitable carols which are blaring our. (None of us can sing so I hope the neighbours are not listening).
Once every last bauble is hung and everyone is tucked up in bed Brandt and I rearrange the decorations just so the tree will stay standing for the rest of the frestive season. Nothing is hung above child eye level.
Then every morning as the chidlren rise to get ready for school the tree lights are turned on and they admire the wonderful tree they helped create.
