This gothic church’s towers, named Adam and Eve, dominate Old Town Square. Construction of this building began in the mid-14th century and took over a century to complete. A fire in 1679 severely damaged the church interior and much of it was rebuilt in the Baroque style. Inside, there are three main aisles and 18 altars. The organ, dating from 1673, is the oldest in Prague. The church also holds the to of the famous astornomer, Tycho Brahe.
