Each year we take time to visit Santa. Even when we were living in Brunei, where Christmas was not celebrated, we made an effort to fly into Australia to gather the cheerful, excited feelings of Christmas before boarding a plane and returning. I still remember the wonder on your face at seeing your first Santa. There was no commercial TV or window dressings promoting the season. You were fascinated with the man in red and unsure what the hype was all about. How innocent you were about these things.
