On Monday it rained much of the day and the winds were strong which made it feel cold even after the rain stopped. But we don’t like to cheat Pixie out of her daily walk so I put on my rain boots, and put her fur coat on her to block out the cold wind because she has fine, silky hair, which doesn’t keep her warm. We usually let Pixie choose her route for walking and that day she took one of her shorter routes ending on a grass field across from our house. We were the only ones out. There wasn’t even a crow or cat for her to chase as she likes to do. So I took this photo of her and the grass for my negative space photo. The word strips perfectly describe our normal walking adventures. We take off and figure out where we’ll go later.
